login failure cryptic message

Description

When I type my password in wrong, I get:

Warning: imap_open(): Couldn't open stream {pop3.dgrmm.net:143/imap}INBOX in /home/mortonda/public_html/htdocs/maia/auth.php on line 108

...which is not very helpful.

I get a similar message when trying to login:-

Warning: imap_open(): Couldn't open stream {localhost:143/imap}INBOX in /var/www/mail/auth.php on line 108

configtest.php says everything is fine apart from the lack of JpGraph? and I know my courier imap server is live and kicking

which version? I think this was an RC5 issue, but is fixed in the trunk.

Thanks for the pointer. I loaded RC6 and this problem has disappeared.
