Description

When downloading the latest version, our intrusion detection appliance

(Forinet) tells us that the files is infected with EICAR_TEST_FILE.

Congratulations, your intrusion detection appliance works! That said, you

can relax: the EICAR test file it's detecting is harmless--it's a file used to test virus scanners. It's found in the "test-messages" subdirectory of the distribution, along with some spam test samples. See ​http://www.eicar.org/anti_virus_test_file.htm.
