Description

please advise how a user that has 'lost' thier password can easily

retrieve it? Usually, in most programs - at the 'login' screen, there is a link 'forgotten password'. thanks steve

The only password we could reset in Maia is an internal one. We don't

have access to POP or IMAP accounts, etc.

Also a simple search would have turned up #380

Mate, I asked you a very simple question - one which, if I could have

'asked around' I would have. For starters, i can't access maiamailguard.com from my servers as your 'host' is bloking our DNS servers. If I could easily fix this I would. In the time it took you to reply - that you were not going to help, you could have told me. All I want to know is how to reset a users password that they have deleted. Yes, i have looked around and NO, I can't find how to do it - please let me know how to reset a LOST USER PASSWORD. thanks STeve

If you can't access maiamailguard.com, how are you posting? Hmm, yes, I

guess the same problem that affected the website could affect DNS. There is a routing problem that is losing packets to renaissoft.com.

This is not the proper forum for user questions. A simple free mail account at gmail or yahoo would suffice.

If you use internal auth, look for the user's record in maia_users, and replace it with a new one in MD5 encoding.
