Description

Hi,

i've got a problem with mailguard : some of the mail received are in a kind of loop, weither there are ham or spam.

I received in the mailguard interface one mail every 2 or 3 secs and putting the sender in the blacklist doesn't seem to stop the problem.

The strange part is that in the final mail recipient, i only received this email once, the loop exist only in mailguard.

For the moment, the only way i found to stop the loop is to put the sender into the spam filter directly onto the sendmail-rx.

Does anyone have seen the same problem ? Is there a way to correct this ?

Thanks.

Sounds like you need to fix your return MTA, as if it is splitting an alias and sending it back through the system. Make sure that all address expansions done after the content filter resolve to names that will be delivered locally (ie, no more content filter passes) or delivered remotely.

This isn't a Maia problem. Look in your MTA logs and see what is being delivered... I would guess you have a mail loop somewhere in your aliases or virtual users.
